第九条 政策 and Procedures

Consistent with our mission and values, Hamline University is committed to developing and educating the whole person and to investing in the personal and professional growth of all community members. We also seek to maintain a safe and nurturing learning and working environment. Sexual misconduct of any form is a violation of a person’s rights, 尊严, and integrity and will not be tolerated at Hamline University.

The following policies thus seek to prevent 性ual misconduct including 性ual 骚扰 and discrimination; to support all students, 教师, and 工作人员 who have experienced such conduct; and to promptly and fairly respond to any allegations that any student, 教师, 工作人员, or visitor has eng年龄d in such conduct. 除了, retaliation by any student, 教师, or 工作人员 for the good faith bringing of a complaint or participating in any investigation or proceeding under this policy will not be tolerated and will be independent grounds for remedial action.

Hamline University will not tolerate discrimination, 骚扰, or retaliation based on race; color; 宗教; creed; 性; 性取向; gender expression; gender identity; 国家的起源; marital status; familial status; status with regard to public assistance; membership or activity in a local commission; 残疾; 年龄; or protected veteran status in its employment or educational opportunities.

第九条 Sexual 骚扰 and Sex Discrimination Policy

第九条 prohibits discrimination on the basis of 性 in Hamline University's U.S. based education programs and activities. Under 第九条, 性ual 骚扰 constitutes 性 discrimination. Sexual 骚扰 includes conduct on the basis of 性 that is: unwelcomed conduct determined by a reasonable person to be so severe, 无处不在的, and objectively offensive that it effectively denies the complainant equal access to a Hamline education program or activity ("Unwelcomed Conduct"); 性ual assault, 约会暴力, domestic violence (herein, 约会暴力 and domestic violence are jointly "relationship violence"), stalking; any instance related to a quid pro quo stipulation involving a Hamline employee; and any related retaliation.
